I Miss the Old Days

Reposting Art Scott's comment here, where it belongs.

Despite the odd religious overtones, this is a surprisingly hip little film, certainly way cooler than the driver safety films I had to sit through. Gerald McBoing-Boing style animation, cool jazz score by Benny Golson performed by Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers, voice done by Howie Morris (Your Show of Shows, Ernest T. Bass on Andy Griffith). Hipster Methodists, who'd a thunk it?

I came away from this convinced that bad driving had prevented an alien invasion.
