And then there was Fred Astaire going nuts in a toy store in EASTER PARADE. Fred could do it all - not only a dancer, singer and actor, he could really play the drums too.

Great scenes. Fred Astaire was great. He could play drums with the sticks or his head or his feet.

...and outside Hollywood, there was this Swedish item from 1945, starring Nils Poppe and the great Annalisa Ericson. The international title for the movie was SAILORS, but I doubt it ever made it outside Scandinavia. Song title roughly translates into "Go Ask Mother". I wonder why Annalisa never made it in Hollywood - she had it all. She could dance, sing, and she was a terrific comedic actress. And she sure had the looks.
