Bill--for the last few days, the first time I open your blog an ad pops up. It's not happening on any other site. Not sure if the problem's on my end or yours, but just wanted to give you a heads up in case you've been hacked or something.

I enjoyed the early stories in this series, but after reading four or five of the novels (not as good as the short stories) I abandoned this series.

Deb, no ad is popping up here. What's the ad for?

No ad popping up here either, so maybe it's you, Deb.

I saw this on Black Gate. I might try the first book of stories. I've read some of his Holmes/Dracula books.

The ads are for different products. It's always the first time I open this blog in the morning. Every other time, it's fine. Just a weird little glitch, but I always worry that it's the proverbial tip if the ice burg!

The first Berserker stuff I read was the multi-author BESERKER BASE, but my favorite was the short story "Inhuman Error", in which the stellar class mnemonic saves a planet.
